At GKS of Ivybridge LTD, we charge a £99 administration fee per vehicle purchase to cover essential services that ensure a smooth and professional buying experience. This fee is transparently applied to all customers and includes the following:

1. Vehicle Documentation & Registration Processing

  • Handling and verification of vehicle registration documents (V5C logbook).
  • Processing ownership transfers with the DVLA.
  • Assistance with road tax setup (if applicable).
  • Liaising with finance companies for settlement or ownership transfers.

2. Vehicle History & Compliance Checks

  • Full HPI check to confirm no outstanding finance, write-off status, or mileage discrepancies.
  • Verification of vehicle history to ensure it is free from fraudulent activity.
  • Ensuring compliance with Trading Standards and other legal obligations.

3. Professional Vehicle Preparation

  • Multi-point pre-delivery inspection (ensuring roadworthiness).
  • Interim service if required.
  • Professional full exterior and interior valet to ensure a clean and high presentation upon collection.

4. Customer Support & Administration Costs

  • Personalized assistance with warranty registrations.
  • Support with setting up vehicle finance agreements (if applicable).
  • Dedicated after-sales support to answer any post-purchase queries.
